At Staveley's Eggs we pride ourselves on setting industry standards by ensuring we meet and exceed levels of quality control set out by the government.
Staveley's Eggs Limited was founded by Ken and Mary Staveley in 1970 as a small family business. Since then it has grown to become a successful and influential producer within the UK egg market. Ken and Mary's son Dave, is now taking a leading role in the development of the business, making changes to ensure we are always meeting the changing demands of our customers.
Quality control at Staveley's Eggs is based on the understanding that our customers demand the best. This is why there are multiple procedures in place along each part of the production line to ensure only the best quality eggs leave the farm. It also means that we pride ourselves in making sure all our livestock conditions meet and exceed animal welfare demands. This ensures customer confidence in our products.
Environmental factors are important part of our responsibilities as one of the UK's leading egg producers. From ensuring that we cut carbon emissions to the welfare of all our livestock.  Our primary farm specializes in the production of organic eggs (these hens are free to roam on organic land and only fed organic feed), adhering to strict regulations set out by the Organic Food Federation. The secondary farm specializes in the production of free range eggs where the birds freely roam on acres of land. All our farms are RSPCA monitored and undergo vigorous internal inspections.
